Tutshi Sled Dog Summer Tours

Located at Km 78.5 on the South Klondike Highway. Tutshi Sleddog Tours is operated by TLK but run at a different location.

Come to tour an authentic mushers summer camp—and take a sled dog cart ride on our scenic alpine trail. Join veteran Iditarod and Yukon Quest mushers Michelle Phillips and Ed Hopkins and their friendly, loyal and well-cared-for Alaskan Huskies at their breathtaking summer mushing camp.

Summer Cart Tour

Hop on our sturdy 4-wheeled UTV (side-by-side) for a thrilling 1.3 mile ride along a trail pulled by a team of supreme canine athletes. The vistas of the sub-albine lakes and mountains are breathtaking. Enjoy a musher’s talk with a gear demonstration, a slideshow and a chance to meet—and cuddle—with the puppies!

Tlk is known for its great dog care. Michelle & Ed have received many vet care awards over the years.

You will drive an extremely well trained dog tea. Many of the dogs in the teams have run the 1000 mile Iditarod and Yukon Quest.

There is a small group to guide ratio. WE care about a quality tour for the client and for the dogs!

Most of the TLK dogs have been born and raised in the kennel.

Southern Lakes scenery is phenomenal!

The drive is well worth the spectacular views.
